One of the best full English breakfasts I've ever had! Even replaced the egg and tomato with other items for me.
We was in Clitheroe early morning & had two hours to pass, We wandered through the town following signs to the market, unfortunately the market wasn't on, however we stumbled across this lovely little place, didn't look much from the exterior but was early & assumed they was setting up, We went in, got a friendly good morning asked if we was ok, sat down looked at the menu, plenty of choices to be had, we both opted for a smaller breakfast (black pudding was awesome) & coffee, we did swap an item out. The breakfast came quite quickly lovely presented & very hot! A slight mistake probably due to me swapping an item, the lady rectified the issue promptly & apologised. We said no harm done & appreciated the fact it was sorted quickly. Toilets was nice & clean, smelt fresh, Water bowl outside for your dog. If we visit Clitheroe again, we will 100% come here again, A lovely proper cafe!
Delicious, and don't be fooled by looking of the portions, they are more filling than you expect. We were too full to get desserts after. Meat lasagne is cheesy, perfect for my liking.
Lovely food, we ordered homemade cheese and onion pie with proper mash and beans. It was a good size portion and absolutely scrumptious! Homemade burger was ordered too again homemade, really tasty not your run of the mill processed burger. Chicken gougons were aslo homemade with chuck chips, coleslaw and salad. The homemade cakes looked delicious but we just couldn't fit one in. We will be returning at some point for coffee and cake
Lovely cafe. Friendly staff, good selection of food, cakes and pies. Right next to the market and worth a visit if you're going to the market. Outdoor and indoor seating. Would highly recommend
Consistently top quality and tasty food and the cakes are fantastic. They are a lovely group of people who always make you feel welcome and even when they are run off their feet (which is often), you never have to wait too long. It is one of our favourite destinations for lunch
We had delicious chicken and mushroom pot pie with tomato basil soup! Millie and her mother were so kind to assist us with our location details. Our trip has been delightful with good food and friendly folk! Many thanks for a cold Florida mama and son!
First visit to this place, location very good, actually in the same square as the market, staff very helpful, unlike many places, the menu is extensive, including takeout, food very good, will definitely go again, one has to recognise that quality is not cheap, yet in this case it is worth it.
